Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Etsy or Google.
• Etsy connection — if you sign in with Etsy or connect your shop, we store your shop name, shop id, and read-only OAuth tokens so we can load your listings for grading. We never write anything back to your shop, and you can disconnect from your account page or revoke access from Etsy at any time.
• Content you submit — the listings, product details, tags, descriptions, writing samples (“your voice”), and correction notes you enter to be graded, fixed, or written. Listing text is processed to produce your result and is not stored on our servers; what we keep is a derived style profile (see below).
• Voice profile — if you use rewrites, we store a short, derived description of how you write (tone, structure, recurring phrasing) with your account so future rewrites sound like you. We do not store your raw listings or rewrite history to build it.
• Email you give the free audit — if you unlock a full audit breakdown with your email, we store that email, your score, and your self-reported shop stage, and may send a short series of follow-up emails. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
• Usage data — counts of your grades and fixes, timestamps, and your IP address (used to rate-limit the free public grader).
• Feedback you send — if you use the in-product feedback form, we store your message, its category, an optional contact email, and basic technical context (the page you were on, browser, and screen size) so we can investigate and reply.
• Payment information — handled by Stripe. We store your plan, Fix Pack access dates, and a Stripe customer/subscription reference, but never your card number.

How we use it

To provide and improve the service — grading, fixing, and writing listings; enforcing plan limits; processing payments; and communicating with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.

AI processing

Listings and related content you submit are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to generate scores and rewritten listings. This processing happens only to produce your result. Under Anthropic’s API terms, content submitted through the API is not used to train their models.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:

• Etsy — sign-in and read-only shop/listing access (via Etsy’s official API)
• Google — sign-in / authentication
• Stripe — payments and subscriptions
• Anthropic — AI grading and writing
• Resend — transactional and follow-up email
• Neon — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics

Storage and security

Your account and usage data are stored with our database and hosting providers (in the United States). Your derived voice profile is stored with your account; some preferences and correction notes are stored locally in your browser. The listings you paste or import are processed to produce your result and are not stored on our servers. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or delete your information, or disconnect your account, by emailing tktlbusiness@gmail.com. We use only an essential session cookie to keep you signed in — no advertising trackers.

Browser extension

Our optional Chrome extension reads only the title and description of the Etsy listing page you choose to grade, and sends that text to our grading service to return a score. It does not read any other pages, does not access your Etsy account, and does not collect personal, financial, or location data. The listing text is used only to produce the grade — it is not sold or used for advertising.

Children

Listing Bench is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
